I think it is better to be alone than to be with bad company because i f you are alone than you will not get into trouble. Also if you are with people you can’t focus on all the things you need to do. Moreover i think that being alone it helps you think more and it also helps you be happy .the less people you are with the less of a chance they will be bad. I think it is great to have a lot of friends it helps people be happy and always smile. But if the people you are with are bad then it is better to be alone by yourself. I think that some people will just hold you back so think that you should think more about who you are with. That is not all i think i also think it would not hurt to be with people who are bad at doing work but are good people at heart. It is good to be with smart and kind people. “Goodness is the only investment that never fails.” -Henry David Thoreau I think that goodness can be an investment that never fails because everyone that is good will like it and if you are good then in the end you will get something better than any other investment. If you are good then you will get many good things like more trustworthy friends or a better job or even better things. Because if you act well then you will get a lot of good things in return. For example if you give someone something for nothing in return then you are investing goodness and in the future you might need help and a person will do the same to you. If you act well and invest your kindness you will feel good in the future. I think that there are people out in the world that just need to invest more kindness than the world will become a better place. All we need to do to make our life easier is to give more kindness and in return we will get the same. This is what i think about the statement.
