           School Break Days

What i did in my break was eating, sleeping, and playing. I went to  my uncle's house to Visit and talk. I also had christmas with him and met a lot of relatives of his wife. I did not watch               a lot of movies but i did play a lot of games and had fun. I watched a lot of basketball games with my dad. I was nice to my uncle and all my family i also did lots of other stuff but not much ctr stuff. I read a lot during my break but not much books but comics and some novels. I did not get homework for my classes i had a lot of free time. I spent new year's with my grandparents and slept over. I also started listening to new music and artists. I had a lot of fun with my family over winter and i also had fun with friends .

“Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, is the true goal of education” -Dr. Martin luther king Jr. I think character is something you need to get a job or be well with the people around you. I also think without intelligence you will not be able to do some things that involve using your head. So i think both are important in life you need a lot of both to achieve a lot of things so i think that                 Dr. Martin Luther King was right to say those words. You need as much character as you need intelligence to do a lot of things. An example of not having a lot of intelligence but not a lot of character is a person who is always nice but can’t do some things like a lot of work. But being very intelligent but having little character is someone who is always doing work and doing good but never says anything nice.                    THANKSGIVING Thanksgiving is a day where you are with you family and friends and eat together. It was first celebrated because the pilgrims had their first successful harvest.   It was celebrated with three days of hunting, eating, and other entertainment. The first thanksgiving was in 1621 the indians killed 5 deer as a gift for the pilgrims. In 1789 president George washington announced the first national thanksgiving. But it did not become a national holiday until the 19th century. In the 19 century an american writer named Sara josepha hale had a campaign to make it national.
