“Do what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing”
                                                                                                                  -Chick  moorman
I think that winning is fun and losing sucks but at least i tried and that is what matters.

I think that if you want to be a real winner than you are going to have to be a true and good person. All that matters is that you are not a bad person when you are competing ar doing a contest. If you win a game or something and you did it by cheating then that is bad and you didn’t win. But if you were a good person and give everyone a chance to win not just yourself. That is what i think about the statement today and what i think it means.

“If it is not right do not do it”                                                  “If it is not true do not say it” -Marcus Aurelius    I think that this statement is telling you not to do things you know are not right .Also to not spread rumors of what is not true or what never happened that is not right. If you do those kind of things you are not a good person and if you do wrong because it makes you feel good or gives you something that is even more wrong. You also can not spread lies and tell people things that are not true . If you act like this then you are a gossiper and that will get you in trouble with many people. I think if you avoid doing the kinds of actions you will be better off not getting in trouble with angry people. For example if you lie to get out of school of class that is not right and is a lie. Also if you do things like bully other kids because you want to feel better about yourself that is bad. Another examp
“Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, is the true goal of education” -Dr. Martin luther king Jr. I think character is something you need to get a job or be well with the people around you. I also think without intelligence you will not be able to do some things that involve using your head. So i think both are important in life you need a lot of both to achieve a lot of things so i think that                 Dr. Martin Luther King was right to say those words. You need as much character as you need intelligence to do a lot of things. An example of not having a lot of intelligence but not a lot of character is a person who is always nice but can’t do some things like a lot of work. But being very intelligent but having little character is someone who is always doing work and doing good but never says anything nice. I think that being nice alone can’t get you very far but i also think that being very smart won't either so i think that you need to be both. So th
